To take good quality photos is not enough to have a good camera If you want to make good quality photos you must know how you should use the camera . Before you use the photo camera you must read the user manual for your camera . Almost all settings of all digital cameras are the same but you must to know how to use the various options of your photo camera . The most important things which you must to know on your digital camera are : how to turn the camera on and off , how to aim (through a viewfinder or LCD display), how to zoom ( in and out), and how to focus and shoot. Before using the camera for the first time, you will need to fully charge the battery and insert the camera's storage media (card memory , cd or other media support). You must learn how to use the LCD and viewfinder to focus the images which will be captured . In many cases you must to press the shutter button halfway down to focus ; you must practice to find the halfway point where the camera engages its auto focus but doesn't yet take the picture . When the photo camera is focused and you like what you see in the viewfinder or on the LCD display , continue pressing the button to the rest of the way down to capture the shot. When you press down the shutter button to take photo don’t shake the photo camera . After the photos was taken you can review your photos using review button ( it’s have an icon looks like a play button ) . Almost all cameras have presetting buttons for different moments . You can use presets for night use , portrait , landscape , animals and children shooting sunny day and more ; but the best way to learn how to take nice photos is to use Program mode . In program mode you can modify the settings of your camera ( ISO , brightness , white balance , contrast , flashlight power , shutter speed and more ) and see what it’s happen . Using presetting to take photos you can not modify these settings how you want ( in this mod you can modify just few settings ). Almost all digital cameras can capture movies at low resolution but is very useful if you don’t need high resolution movie . When you record video file with sound be very quiet while shooting and use a tripod (when is possible) — to avoid shake of camera ( helps maintain the detail in the video file ). If you use your photo camera to record video file you will need big capacity storage media device . Some camera can record video file in compact format which is very useful to reduce the size of movie but in this case you can not use the zoom function from the camera ; it’s need to zoom before shooting the video .
